Stan's party

Well he had two, obviously.
School night normal tea with the Berry bunch followed by choc cake (champers for the grown ups, hooray for birthdays.



Then on the following Sunday a party for his school mates at Gym Club. They had a ball and whenever I took a picture M played the clown/panto "he's behind you" etc etc, so the kids look particularly happy

Stan - he always knew his life would be good

stan is five!!!

An early start as ever, Georgia woke Stan up at 6.30 (whose birthday was it again?). After decimating a pile of presents in our bedroom we gave him a red ribbon to follow.....which led.......to........the shed

Lucky boy! Brand new bike which rather fortuitously says "force" across the front, which makes it official Star Wars merchandise in his eyes


Because he has been so brilliant on his wooden balance bike, we haven't given him the stabilisers and last weekend I took him up the lane, gradually loosening my grip and he was brilliant, I ended up running alongside and then when I ran in front of him he realised I wasn't, as such, holding him! Hilarious. Of course he panicked, wobbled and stopped, but didn't fall!

Easter Weekend

Had a pretty full Easter weekend with Katy and Kev here from Friday to Monday and Penny too from Saturday. Lots of fun, many outings and of course, significant quantities of chocolate! - not to mention occasional trips to pubs - or should that read DAILY trips to pub, Rose and Crown Perry Wood Friday, Neptune Whitstable Saturday, Anchor Faversham Sunday..
